Museum of Contemporary Art

The first private gallery of contemporary art in Rostov, created with the money of two benefactors, celebrated its decade in 2015. In the collection of the museum about two hundred works of artists from the first third of the XX century and to the present day, for the entire time of the existence of the Museum on Dmitrovskaya (the street Shaumyan was called before the revolution), there were about 150 exhibitions: Pop Art Andy Warhol, Italian photography of the late 19th century, video installation of Bertrand Plan, an objectless painting by Anatoly Kuznetsov, as well as performances, international projects and author's exhibitions of contemporary artists, including the Rostov school of painting. It is noteworthy that the entrance to the museum is always free.
